COMPLETE REFINISH PROCEDURE
Each aircraft will be inspected, for damaged and missing parts
Flight controls and gear doors are removed prior to stripping, hardware is inspected for correctness and condition.
All plastic, fiberglass, plexiglass and bonded surfaces are covered with protective material.
Door jambs, cowlings, landing gear and airframe gaps are sealed to prevent chemical intrusion.
Aircraft is inspected for correct preparation
Aircraft will be completely stripped of all paint with a using a non-toxic, biodegradable stripper.
After a thorough pressure wash, aircraft is inspected for hidden damage, corrosion, and prepared for painting, including 8 hours of plastic, fiberglass and sheet metal repairs.
Landing gear is cleaned and prepared for paint.
Aircraft is washed to a water break-free surface and alodined.
Aircraft is masked and solvent washed.
Aircraft is primed with Jet-Glo high solids chromate epoxy primer.
Aircraft is inspected and tested for correct primer application
Acry-Glo or Jet-Glo topcoat color is applied.
Aircraft is inspected and tested for correct topcoat application.
Specified paint design is applied with Acry-Glo.
Masking material is removed and aircraft is inspected for paint defects
Flight controls are painted off the airplane and checked for balance before installation.
Wing walk is applied
After assembly, aircraft is cleaned and detailed .
Final inspection for airworthiness and quality
Touch-up paint provided on request.
